YAY Halloween Crafts!

My favorite time of the year! It's time to start crafting for Halloween! I LOVE the FALL time it is so nice and cool outside and I love all the fall colors!

So I have been busy crafting and getting things ready. Here are a few things I have been working on. Also my hubby and I are working on a graveyard for the front yard, I will post some pics when they are done!

My Canada Trip

So I went to see my Dad this summer and I have not seen him for a long long long time (like more than 10 years!) So I decided it was time to go and visit him. I actually surprised him! I worked it all out with his girlfriend so that I knew he would be home and so she could pick me up from the airport. I thought that it would be fun to just go and knock at his front door all by myself. I wanted to see if he would know who I was. So I knocked on the door and I turned around so that my back was facing him when he came to answer the door. He is a landscaper and he has a sign out in front of his house with his phone number on it, so I acted like a potential customer when he opened the door I said...ya so I saw your sign out front. As I said this I slowly turned around to face him. I could barley get the last three words out of my mouth. His mouth dropped and he just looked at me and said "are you crazy?" "are you serious?" hee hee
he kept saying that and hugged me. We both kinda trembled together and cried for a moment. It was a wonderful moment.

This is sooo cool! This is at the top of the CN Tower looking down through the glass floor. They said that this floor is so strong that it could hold 15 rhinos! amazing!

My Dad and Austin

Here is my Dad's girlfriend Linda and my Dad. Linda was so amazing! She took me to the CN Tower, she picked me up from the airport and Austin and I also had a fantastic time with Linda and her daughters in Niagara Falls!!! They were all so nice and thoughtful. I was so thankful to all of them!

On the last day of my trip my Dad and I had some of the yummiest fries! In Canada they smother there french fries with gravy! IT IS SOOOOO GOOD!!!

yay so excited we finished our front yard makeover!!!

So I have been growing Sunflowers all summer in my veggie garden this year and they are starting to bloom. I am so excited to see all the beautiful colors. Well I decided I wanted to bring some of them inside to enjoy.. here they are!

Updated Garden Pics !!!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. Here is an updated picture of my garden! It is growing so much! I LOVE IT!!!

Garden Time

Middle of May, my FAVORITE time of year! The weather is perfect, the grass is nice, thick and green (because of all the rain of course =-) ) And of course lets not forget its the time to get your gardens ready! I LOVE this part of spring!

So for my family it is our tradition to get the garden all ready to plant by Mother's Day (right around the 15th of May-best time to plant) So I had everything ready to go by then.
On Mother's Day my Mom, Step Dad and brother came over to BBQ and we planted all of our seeds! My brother just LOVED helping me (*sarcasm*) lol!

After we got this part done it was off to find some rocks to paint. Another new tradition is to paint rocks to place at the end of the row we just planted so we will know what is planted at each row. So fun and the kids just love painting rocks! (And I love to decorate my garden with all the rocks they paint)

This year we planted corn, squash, tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, turnips, lettuce and sunflowers!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! YAY!!

I have always wanted a place to sit in the shade and hang flowers! So excited to BBQ and spend my summer out here.

Our AMAZING Family California trip

So here Iam finally posting about our amazing vacation! As some of you already know... we go to Disneyland just about EVERY year lol! And this year was no exception haha. We decided to go see some other sights along the way. The first place we went was Hoover Dam. WOW! I have never been there but I must say, it was something to see! There are building this AMAZING road over the dam and it is sooo cool! If you are ever in the Vegas area you have to see this thing.

We only walked about half way..well actually it was more like less than half way around the dam lol! I was totally freaked out! It was sooo far down and I could not stand to have my kids near this thing! So after we got a quick look we got out of there! My hubby thought I was nuts! But what can I say, I AM! LOL!

So then we took a little walk around Vegas. We didn't go to far just over to the Excalibur and the M&M Store. It was so dirty and there were so many naked pictures every where I had to get my kids out of there too! But we had fun driving down the strip and seeing all the pretty lights =-)

Here we are after arriving in Cali, we decided to go and check out the amazing Queen Mary. Its this really old ship that they say is Haunted! We did a haunted tour. It was so neat! A must see if you are ever in Long Beach!

So then we decided we wanted to go to Hollywood to see the stars in the sidewalk, well that turned into a nightmare! There was no where to park! NO WHERE!!! We drove around and drove around and drove around some more! A waist of time! So after that we decided to go and find some peace in the LA Temple. It was so beautiful! Another must see!

Here we are having fun at Newport Beach with are awesome friends the Hunter's. They were so nice and let us stay in their time share for the week for FREE! and we had to thank them with dinner. So we took them to The Old Spaghetti Factory and then we headed over to the ocean for so fun!

Here we are at the "happiest place on earth" LOL! Disneyland!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

My sweet baby he is so cute! His daddy just had to buy him this sucker. (Even though it was like five bucks! ) How can you resist this face!?

So there you have it! What a fun trip! I am so happy we got to go down there and get some much needed rest! Fun time with the family! Brian wants to go again, THIS YEAR! LoL not to sure if that will happen....will see haha =-) there are more pictures on my facebook page if you want to see......until next time

Megan my sweet little girl turned four on the 14th of April. I know I am a little late posting this but we have had a very busy month (we had a Disneyland trip at the end of April) So anyways I just wanted to share a few photos from this cute little princess party. Happy Birthday Megan!
